The Laredo Stroke Support Group was formed in 2012 with one goal in mind: to offer others facing the seemingly insurmountable challenge of stroke recovery the support they need. Through the use of meaningful group encouragement and local networking, survivors are equipped with opportunities that benefit the recovery process, increase social independence, and constantly remind them that they are not alone. The event commemorates our group’s stroke survivors and will generate funds that will continue to benefit their rehabilitation through speech, physical, and occupational therapy.
